December 18 R's home SHE opened her eyes when the light hit her face. Slowly stirring, she noticed his arm around her. She turned to face his still, calm face. She barely remembered the events of the night before. It didn't matter. She shook off the thoughts and turned her attention back to him. "There's nothing in this world that can take this moment away from us."
June 26, the following year. Brunch at the garden. HE broke the awkwardness. "I think I like someone." "Oh, who?" "You know that girl from the college visit?" "You mean the one I didn't like?" "Yea." "Wait. You don't like her?" "You didn't know? I thought I made it pretty obvious." "I..." "Yes you. I'll see you." She left, failing to tell him about her departure.
June 26, night. L's home HE settled in his room after a strange day and a "date", if he could call it a date. He tried to ring her again but he kept getting her mailbox. He resigned to his bed and lay awake until his eyes forced shut.
June 26, night. At the airport SHE pulled her luggages off the trolley and onto the conveyor belt. "Passport please." She broke out of her daze. "Huh? Oh." She hadn't told him she was leaving today. She wanted to, but didn't get a chance to say it. Lugging her hand carry, she walked to the customs through the glass doors. There was no turning back. She took a glance through the tranparent sheet that seperated her from...everything. Passport clutched tightly in hand, she strode past the barrier and into the lounge. She didn't know how long she would be gone, but she would be and that's all that mattered.
Ah there's nothing more interesting than a little perspective. In this blog, you read and I provide the perspective. (borrowed quote) You've come to the end of the perspective. Boring as it may seem, there must be something I want to say right? Wrong. There is.
Meanwhile, I'm going to take an advice of a friend. "sleep is good. rest is better." Which friend, no one will know.
