LOL. Thanx Brett. Thanx a lot. hahaha. Nah. Performance workshop was cool today. It was a good day. It began with my favourite part of the day. Caleb being pretty pissed at the class. BUT it was a good thing because it would sort everything out. The people who did wrong would either change or just not.
I'm pretty sad for some of the attitudes of the people in the class. It's just sad that you don't reflect what it is to be a Christian and affect the grades of other people and upset everyone involved. That's not loving people, even if you do say sorry. It really is sad and despite being really annoyed, I pity them.
Next was aural! Amazing class. I got my previous test back and I GOT 94%! Thats an A+!!!!!!! Its exciting. Only question for myself is, HOW DID I MISTAKE A MINOR FIRST INVERSION FROM AN AUGMENTED ROOT POSITION!? I'm impossible. *shakes head*
Okay. Next up was choir. Nick cracks me up. So here's what happened - brief and inaccurate reenactment. N: So guys, Joanne wanted us to do this song by Selah, its called Press On. We're gonna be doing it for Inspire conference. We have 2 soloists and the choir. SO, I decided on the 2 soloists. ME: (thinking) YAY! BREONY! and probably Adam! or Sam! N: Joice and ZAB ME: That's random. WHAT?! N: You okay with that? ME: *nods* MY GOODNESS. OKAY. First of all, I don't know how big inspire conference is, but I would guess pretty big. Secondly, I'm afraid of who is gonna be there!!! At least Nick said he would be considering other people for the soloist part. I would gladly step aside. But I'm still honoured that I was picked. Thanx. :D
Lastly, PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP! Despite having to play for Sarah J and just finding out yesterday, I think it went quite well. I quote: Nice accompaniment (whoever said this, thanx.) My song was a little less amazing than I expected it to be but I guess it was alright since Brett said quite a few good things about it like the words that I used and the musical aspect. And the best part was, HE CALLED SARAH J AND I BUDDING SONGWRITERS! YAY! Thanks to Caleb for doing sound this week. Oh how we missed you. Or at least I did. And Nick! Yay! He was there for my SW performance! I can't wait for the comments. OKAY. So Derek Lind is coming next week. Its gonna be cool.
Thats it for today. Birthday kids this week: SARAHJ WAISALE JOANNEW. NICKK.
