Hymns. Somehow, they give me a sense of slowing down in the world, allowing me to find a sort of peace. Must be the simplicity of the tune, the meaning of the words just hit and the sounds of the congregation of the adults fill your head. No matter in simple hymns or doxologies, they speak clean and plain english with meanings unimaginably obvious.
And in them, I find peace.
