It has been one fruitful day.
Only down side of it was MY PC HAS A VIRUS! AHHH!!!
Sigh.

Anyway.
Next time I will not be so adventurous on the internet.
I will stick to doing normal things and most importantly, I will
GET A MAC.

I heard Dr. Bernard Blessing preach.
It was amazing.
Luke 8:40-56 (A Girl Restored to Life and a Woman Healed)
It speaks about the woman who had faith enough to be healed touching the hem of Jesus' garment. The robe of the priests were usually sewn with the promises of God at its borders. Her touching of the hem of His garment showed she had to get down, way down, in the crowd to TOUCH it. That moment of desperation and faith is the same desperation and faith we should have, not just when we're in need but every moment. Why wait until we're hanging by our necks, the life draining out of us, numbness overcoming our body and mind, before we turn to God with a simple cry of "HELP!"?
"There will be no sleep tonight." Dr. Bernard Blessing said.

The girl.
The child of the synagogue official, Jairus, died.
The devil went past Jairus' money, house, clothes, make up..(quoted) and went for his daughter. You see, the devil goes for the "synagogue official", he finds the weakest spot in him and attacks. When you find favour with God, you are the devil's enemy. He will come.
Someone told Jairus not to bother Jesus with this matter. Jesus overcame death. Now, what more?
Jesus heard this and told Jairus "Do not be afraid any longer; only believe, and she will be made well." (NASB)
What had he to do when his daughter was dead?
Only believe.
What did Jesus tell him to do when all seemed lost?
Only believe.
Now, what are we to do in times when it seems that all is vanity, life's no longer worth the living, everything gets too much and you're sick and tired?
(you guessed it.)

Consistency + Time = Impact
So PRAY!

Dependancy on people cannot suffice.
Why depend on the creatED when you can depend on the CREATOR?
Your source is staring you right in the face.
The people that God created, the people that cried Hosanna shouted "Crucify!".
People change but God remains.

My God. My God. How awesome is He, my God.
Yesterday has gone and tomorrow is in Your hands.
I only have today.
This desperation.
What is this new refreshing?
You don't call the equipped but you equipt the called.

Humble yourself before God this day.
Don't wait for Him to humble you, the God that humbled His people in the time of Noah.
God doesn't use perfect people, everyone in the bible from start to finish wasn't perfect. Adam and Eve weren't perfect. Abraham, the man who called his wife his sister wasn't perfect. David, the writer of psalm and adulterer wasn't perfect.
But Jesus! One whose goal in life was to put a smile on His Father's face, righteous anointed one, the man who died for us, son of our God who gave His life for who?
The imperfection of YOU AND I.

Dr. Bernard Blessing also said the thing you do before you go to bed will determine the atmosphere when you awake. (rephrased)
Let us arise with praise on our lips and songs in our hearts. (and unicorns, rainbows and strawberrys!)

But the beginning of a new day is the grace of another 24 hours given to us and we give thanks for another day. Another day to live for this desperation, another day to laugh in the face of the devil.

I cannot believe how much I had abandoned this desperation I had.
Joy unspeakable it won't go away
Just enough strength to live for today
So I'll never have to worry what tomorrow will bring
Cause my faith is on solid rock
I'm counting on God.
Thank you Desperation Band for that wonderful anointed worship and for the testimony shared.
Thank you Dr. Bernard Blessing for every word that came out of your mouth.
God uses people.
He can use me too.

I had answers to ALL my questions, I have solutions to ALL my problems, I have assurance to quench ALL my fears, I have confidence in ALL that is to come.

Today, I have been blessed in many ways.
Now this seed I've received I will sow.
