Have yourself a merry little Christmas

The one Christmas after 2 terrible ones and the one Christmas being single after 2 years.
It was good though.

After a service where most of the vocalists were "slained" I guess we regained out energy. Went for lunch with the cell and some of the guys. We split the table battle of the sexes style. Except Eugene who became Eugena. Then Glenn joined us a little later. Plus side, they were there. Plus plus side, I got to know serene better! She's so cute XD

Oh well. After that fabulous meal of fun, laughter, peace and joy, (literally) Mildred, Winnie, Glenn, Joee and I went to Jalalabad for reservist. No actually, it was Karkand. ( I REMEMBERED THE NAME!)

Paul and gang were already there so we joined them. Glenn, as usual had the commander's post. I guess he was trying to be efficient by dropping supplies and vehicles in our area. Unfortunately some of us got killed by the very thing that should help us. ouch.
Victims of his killer litter resulted in the death of 3 heroic soldiers-Kow, Joee and I. Kow and I were killed by vehicles and Joee was killed by supplies. Oh the pain! Laugh for what! Not funny la!
Actually, it was hilarious to break a few ripcages. Like Spenser, Japheth and Glenn. They were laughing so hard at Joee being killed by supplies that I half expected them to roll on the floor. Just my luck. It didn't happen.
Selwyn skipped down the slope of Karkand. Seriously. I was like watching a cute horror movie. Would you imagine SELWYN skipping down a slope? Say hello to the unimaginable.

Right after that, we played pool. Many things happened there too. (for more hilarious elaborations, ASK)

On the whole, Christmas was great and thanx to Joee and Glenn who spent almost the entire christmas with me, including the eve. Thanx for making this Christmas more christmassy than it felt! I'm feelin' it now! HOO!

Just remember: There're 12 days of Christmas. That gives you 11 more days to give me my presents! Just kidding. XD Happy holidays!

United and Ignited in Christ & Why Jesus

I have no idea how United and Ignited in Christ and Why Jesus could sum up the camp for me with "Love". Its amazing how God works eh?

Brought the GM-ers closer together too. Physically, emotionally and spiritually. The 5 of us, Eunice, Mildred, Yihui, Winnie and I shared a 3 man room. (how cool is that?!) It was all thanx to one-the lizard that crawled into Winnie and Yihui's room and traumatised them, causing the shift in location. Hohoho...

Junior camp was a wonderful experience for me. It didn't have a fun factor but it had that spiritual high. Senior was completely opposite. Thats just me. My future cell is superliciously adorable!!! Little monkeys of my own, just like I was when Kelly and Becca took us in. Charlene and I were in awe for both the cell and ministry night. There was an annointing and we cannot deny that. It was so powerful people were slain within a minute. With 2 people praying, it took half the time.

My leg, infected with 16 mosquito bites, is currently accumulating more and more each day with credits to the wet weather here.

Now enough about the weblogging. Its time to have some depth!

I have found just having someone listen to your problems and having no objective in it whatsoever can be good. Relieves the burden.

Sorry I haven't been there for you. I will now. Even if you just want me to listen.

Its how you feel when you're going through the emotional dip where everything just flusters and falls at your feet. Things that seem obscure are actually the simple matters put in the mind and thought over and over again, complicating things. The ambiguity is what you need to simplify and in that simplification, you would understand ambiguity, allowing the situation of ambiguity to understand you. Get it?

Intrigued.

Its facinating to be able to play something you think you can't.
I tried to play the drums today.
Success for one verse and one intro. I'm working on the transition!

Let go & let God

I'm well on my way to understanding completely that phrase that has been emphasised so much.

The number of commitments allow me to turn to the Lord more than ever. With this, I learn to let Jesus take control of it all. From planning worship to every other problem I have.
If it is for me then who can be against me?
No one. With this, I am grateful for all the concern from my cell and my friends who's been keeping me in check. All the advise has been a great big blessing in my life, especially now where all the different trials come into place and I am more and more dependant on my Father.

You know who you are. Yes you.
Thank you for seeing me through.
I pray for the Christmas cheer to be abundant in you.

Sound or music

Both la.

After years of thinking sound is the simplest thing anyone could do, I just realised quite recently that doing sound is the best thing you could ever do. A sound person has to at least know the accoustics of the place, the build of the instrument and at least play something, or most of the things. I find the joy in my course now.

Aaron and Amos have got me hooked on the Mighty to Save dvd. Went to their place and we fast forwarded the dvd x1.5. Try listening to a little irish accent in that speed. It amazes you how much you can catch.

There was worship prac just now and I had the most amazing experience. Not just a divine encounter. Three things: the power of prayer, worship and friends.

Truly experiencing these things for yourself is cool and the best things you could ever testify about. HOO! cool.
